Varuno terms of use
These terms cover the use of Varuno, the personal finance app by Varman Labs, currently distributed for testing via Apple TestFlight. Where a legal detail is pending, a visible placeholder appears rather than an invented answer.
The app and its stage
Varuno is provided in a TestFlight internal testing stage. Test builds may contain defects — the current list is published at Known issues — and features may change between builds.
Not financial advice
Varuno is a record-keeping and estimation tool. Figures it produces — including take-home pay, CPF and other retirement contribution estimates, projections and analytics — are estimates, not financial, tax or payroll advice. The app states this wherever such figures appear, and it applies to everything on this site as well. Decisions about your money remain yours. A formal legal-grade disclaimer is being prepared: [FINANCIAL_DISCLAIMER_REQUIRED].
Your responsibilities
- Backups. Varuno keeps your financial data on your device and does not copy it to a cloud. Exporting and safeguarding backup files is your responsibility, and exported files are readable by anyone who obtains them.
- Account credentials. Keep your password to yourself; support will never ask for it.
- Accurate records. What you enter is what Varuno computes with.
Pricing
Varuno currently contains no purchases, subscriptions or billing of any kind. A pricing statement for the future is pending: [PRICING_STATEMENT_REQUIRED].
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break the app’s security mechanisms, misuse the support forms, or use Varuno to store data you have no right to hold.
